It was a good innings to begin with as both bat and ball were dominating each other from instance to another. But unfortunately for Cricket Stars, their fielding efforts and that one over from Abdul Rehman, let them now! As for Roma CC, they stay on and keep their hopes alive of making the ECL, by winning on their home ground!

Haseeb Khan, who generally is good with the first over he bowls, went for 21 this time round, when Dinidu Marage took him on. But his bowling partner, Sukhpal Singh, got the better of the right-handed opening batter. After that, the class of Crishan Kalugamage and Pruthuvi Samarage shone through, to give Roma CC an assurance out in the middle. Then came more drop catches and misfields, and that gambling over from Abdul Rehman, that almost killed it for Cricket Stars.

Still, Deependra Shekhawat did manage to get Samarage out to give his team fresh hopes, but Kalugamage stepped forward to seize the momentum from the bowling side and put the final nail in the coffin.

Cricket Stars had a hard week in Rome, they lost their kits due to burglary, they lost their chance of qualifying in the top two and now, after putting up a decent show with the bat in the first innings, have lost their chance of making it to the final.
