Commentary

That's that from this enthralling game of cricket, we have plenty of cricketing action happening tomorrow. We have Commonwealth Games kicking off and then West Indies are taking on India in the five match T20I series. Cricket Stars won the game by 4 runs!

Well, who would've thought at the innings break when Cricket Stars were restricted to 85 would come back and win the game by 4 runs. Talk about skills, talk about nerves, it had all of it and Cricket Stars just showing that why they are the team to beat, three wins a row in a single day and the team is beaming with confidence now.

Cricket Stars needed early wickets and they remove Samarakoon early in the first over but Marage and Rahat ensured Stars were kept at bay as they kept finding boundaries. It was Sukhraj who turned the game on it's head post powerplay, two quick wickets and the game was wide open. Roma still were in control of the game though but it was some disciplined bowling effort that from Cricket Stars throughout that put the pressure back on them as they were down 43-4.

At this juncture Roma found almost a hero in Samarage who clobbered Sukhraj who came back to bowl his second over and smashed him for 24 runs in a single over and that brought Roma right back into the contest and were cruising to victory but then Haseeb bowled a brilliant 17th over, just five runs from it and more importantly he scalped a wicket in that over.

Deependra then followed up with a great over barring that unlucky boundary, six runs and then Cricket Stars needed to defend 8 runs off the final over. Rajmani Sandhu took up the task to do it and he delivered splendidly well and this team is now looking like a team to beat at the moment.

WHAT.A.GAME! Thriller it turned out to be in the end, Cricket Stars finish the day with a hat-trick of win here.

It's nerves everywhere, both the batters were in a bit of a mix-up, they went for the second run at the last second and Rathnayakas had to sacrifice his wicket.

The mid off fielder runs around and fields it as the batters take off for the second. The bowler collects the underarm throw and breaks the stumps to find Thilina well short.
