Commentary

Roma Bangla Morning Sun starting the day with a convincing win then. They did well with the ball first up to set this game nicely as they restricted Kent Lanka to a total that was below par and not quite challenging enough. They got off to a blazing start in the powerplay as Anik Ahmed made sure Lanka had no chance in this game whatsoever. He set the platform with the others finishing it off quite comfortably, with enough help from the opposition as well.

Nothing going right for Kent Lanka here as they failed to get enough runs on the board earlier with the bat. They had to bowl well and pick up wickets which they could not do as well. To make it worse that final over from Nicolo really summed up the proceedings for them this morning. A poor game and they will have to pick themselves up in all three aspects if they are to comeback from this defeat.

Roma Bangla will be pleased with a solid all-round effort and they carry momentum going into the second contest where these two sides face off once again. An opportunity for Lanka to redeem themselves but they are going to have to put in a lot of hard-work for that to happen. Will Roma Bangla complete a double or will the scores be settled?

Done and dusted with that and they only ended up making things easy for the batting side. A comprehensive win for Roma Bangla in the end as they get over the line with 8 wickets and a little over 4 overs to spare!
