Roma CC seal a spot in the playoffs courtesy of a splendid all-round performance! They set the tone with the bat in hand first up, notching up a big total and have followed that up with a terrific bowling performance to restrict Rome Bangla Morning Sun to just 72 runs in their ten overs. The table-toppers of the league stage face a disappointing exit from the tournament and they have just not been upto the mark on Finals Day Saturday. Throughout the tournament, Rome Bangla Morning Sun were dependent on their top-three to do the bulk of the scoring and once they were dismissed in this contest, the writing was pretty much on the wall for them. A dominant show with the ball for Roma CC and they were terrific in the field as well, holding onto some stunning catches. All their eight bowlers, apart from Rahat Ahmed, tasted success with the ball. Even part-time spinner Samarage snared a couple of wickets towards the end of the contest. RBMS kept losing wickets at regular intervals and in the end, it proved to be too big a mountain to climb for them.
