Lucca CC - 104/6 in 10 overs (Yasintha Dias 40* off 33 balls, Virantha Weerasingha 2/23 in 2 overs) beat Royal Cricket Padova - 52/7 in 10 overs (Angelo Andradege 14 off 15 balls, Pradeep Kumara 2/12 in 2 overs) by 52 runs.

Lucca CC could not have hoped for a better start to the tournament! On ECS debut, they have won with 10 men on the park! A very impressive performance by this new side against a team, that gave away too much charity to their new opponents, in misfields, overthrows, drop catches and penalty runs! And when it came down to scoring runs with the bat, Royal Cricket Padova were a pale shadow of themselves from the first match.
