A comprehensive win for Rome Bangla this as they got over the line quite comfortably in the end, making it a one-sided chase. Their openers got them off to a rollicking start in the powerplay and the game was pretty much over right there and then so to say. A couple of good overs for the bowling side in between but that was about it. A magnificent final over to wrap things up and complete a dominating win.
Royal Roma did not have enough on the board despite the late surge by their batters. To make it worse, it was a horrible powerplay as they not only gave runs but also put a couple of opportunities down, which cost them the game big time. Their skipper did get both the openers in an over but the damage was done by then.
Rome Bangla were in a comfortable position and only a miraculous effort could have saved Royal Roma, which wasn't to be. A fine all-round contest for Rome Bangla as they romp home and this win is also going to do their net run-rate a deal of good at an important stage in the competition.
These two sides meet again shortly and Royal Roma will have to redeem themselves and win the game at any cost. Momentum with the Bangla Morning Sun and they will certainly want to repeat this performance and complete a double to strengthen their position on the table.
Stay tuned for all the exciting action coming up throughout the day with plenty on the international scene as well. Catch it all and gear up for an amazing weekend. This is goodbye from Bidipto and myself (Rishab) for the moment!
The last thing Royal Roma needed was the kind of an over here. Cannot afford this with not a lot left on the board and this is excellent batting from Rome Bangla once again, only aided by the opposition as well. Done and dusted in style and this has been an over for Gagandeep to forget. Finished off in style and a big win for Rome Bangla as they get home with 8 wickets and two overs to spare!

A decent over for Muhktiar Singh as well here. They need wickets though as trying to contain the batters may not win them the game from here. Still pretty much under control for Rome Bangla but they will not want to take this down to the final over and will look to wrap it up soon. 17 more off 18 needed!

A couple of good overs from Rajwinder here and the skipper is making sure Rome Bangla do not have it easy despite the flying start that they had. This is good bowling and it has been a top spell from him. Wickets in hand and Rome Bangla should still get there comfortably though as they are on track!
