Royal Tigers - 140/2 in 10 overs (Zahir Safi 67 off 24 balls, Salman Khan 1/32 in 2 overs) beat Budapest Blinders - 71/7 in 10 overs (Kalum Nandika 13 off 11 balls, Zeeshan Kukikhel 3/9 in 2 overs) by 69 runs.

The batting from the Budapest Binders has disappointed after their fielding and bowling and now, both teams have registered their first points on the board, but Royal Tigers will be happier of the two, playing both matches extremely competitively.

Royal Tigers held on to their catches a lot better than their opponents, even though they too had their lapses in the field. Still, it was a much better fielding effort from the champions on the whole.

Bowling-wise, they were far superior, with their lengths, their clever changes of pace and their accuracy. All the bowlers were pretty economical and relentless.
