It was a chase that saw the batters go about their business without an ounce of panic. All momentum was in favor of Brigade after the 7-wicket burst towards the back-end of their bowling effort alright, but to go about their job in the manner they eventually did speaks a lot about how professional a side they are.

Graeme McCarter was dismissed rather early but with skipper Andrew Britton handed a life, the Tigers were going to pay alright. Britton cashed in on the field restrictions and maximized it to the fullest - so much so that two quick wickets didn't deter the chase by any means.

Of course, it was bound to cause a couple of nerves but with Adam McDaid taking his time out in the middle, he was determined to see his side through. That is exactly what transpired as well with Brigade staying right on par with the eight ball and a blazing cameo from David Barr shut the door firmly on the opposition.

The Royal Tigers tried hard with the ball but the dropped catch of Britton was always going to haunt them. When they look back on this game though, they will realize that the appalling collapse with the bat that saw them sink from 70/3 to 89 all out was where they lost the contest.

As simple as that! Adam McDaid took his time but he ensured that he was there until the very end to get the job done alright. Brigade beat Royal Tigers by 7 wickets with 3 deliveries to spare!
