A pretty convincing victory for the Lightning in the end as they win by 6 wickets with 8 deliveries to spare. The target of 44 was below par considering the fact that Lightning had a good batting unit.

Avinash Pai was dismissed early but Sameer Nayak turned it around with a flurry of boundaries in the 2nd over. He smashed a couple of fours and a six before his departure courtesy of an exceptional catch at deep third man.

Iain Latin ensured that he eventually stayed there till the end and took his side over the finishing line. The Royal Tigers Budapest didn't score enough runs after batting first and a score of 43 was never going to be enough for them.

A massive blow from Latin to end the match, a pretty comfortable run chase in the end. Turned out to be a cakewalk for Lightning powered by some lusty hits from Sameer Nayak and eventually Iain Latin finished it off in style.
