SMA won by 13 runs ROS - 81/10 (10 overs) J Manikandan - 25(17) | Sabari Sakthivel - 16(11) Arunachalam V - 3/20 | Sivakumar S - 2/9
A one-sided affair which SMA win comfortably by 13 runs in the end. After posting a par-score of 94/2 in 10 overs, SMA bowlers delivered the goods to bundle out ROS and seal a comprehensive win.
Chasing 95, ROS lost their first wicket as early as the second over. Since then, SMA bowlers made continuous inroads as the ROS batting line-up crumbled.
Apart from other opener J Manikandan, only tailender Sabari Sakthivel could manage a score in double digits in an otherwise lacklustre batting performance.
For SMA, Arunachalam V was the highlight of the bowling department, finishing his spell with three wickets and conceding only 9 runs from his quota of 2 overs. Sivakumar S, Rishi Raut and Harish S finished with three wickets each as SMA bowler dominated proceedings.
With the victory, SMA register their fifth win in the tournament while ROS slumped to their eighth defeat.
