That brings us to the end of our coverage from this game. Like always it was a pleasure bringing all the live updates from this encounter. The cricketing action continues with several matches lined up tomorrow. Keep following Sportskeeeda for all the latest sporting action but for now this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off on behalf of my fellow commentator and good mate Karthik Raj. Goodnight!
Cinnamon Pacers won by 4 wickets (with 13 deliveries to spare)
Saffron Strikers 74/7 in 10 overs
Ryan John 28(19) | Rishon Williams 19(13) Larry Edwards 2/10(2) | John Olive 2/17(2)
Cinnamon Pacers 76/6 in 7.5 overs
St Nickozi Hillaire 33(18) | Desron Maloney 16(16) Shermon Lewis 2/22(2) | Javel St. Paul 1/7(0.5)
That was a thoroughly professional run chase from the Cinnamon Pacers as they ease past the Saffron Strikers by 4 wickets with more than two overs to spare. The Saffron Strikers bowlers needed to get regular wickets to harbour hopes of defending this score but they would have certainly hoped for the best after seeing the previous match when 52 was chased down in the penultimate over. However, some sensible batting by St Nickozi Hillaire and Desron Maloney was enough to get them over the line.
The target of 75 wasn't going to challenge the Cinnamon Pacers with a good batting line-up. However on this surface, defending was a possibility and they needed to get off to a good start. Shermon Lewis bowled a 11 ball opening over but also managed to bag the wicket of Seandell Regis. 21 runs off the first two overs set them on their way to chasing this down. After a tidy 3rd over, Nickozi Hillaire took on Delaney Alexander to ease te deal. 40/1 at the end the 4th over was a great platform for the Pacers.
They lost a few wickets towards the fag end of the match but the target was well within their reach and the required rate wasn't an issue either. Some impressive bowling towards the back end took the match a bit deep but in the end, the Pacers chased it down inside the 8th over, winning by 4 wickets with 13 deliveries to spare. Shermon Lewis was the pick of the bowlers for the Saffron Strikers, finishing with figures of 2/22 in his 2 overs.
7.5 Javel St Paul to Mahid Lambert, FOUR! That's game set and match. On a fuller-length a shade outside off, driven a bit away from the body and the outside half of the bat takes it past the third man fielder and trickles away to the fence.
Mahid Lambert, RHB, is into the middle
Wickets continue to fall even this late in the game. Che Duncan ended up playing all around a straight delivery!
7.4 Javel St Paul to Che Duncan, WICKET! Duncan has been cleaned up here. That was on the fuller-length around the middle stump channel, Che Duncan tries to launch that across the line, loses his shape and was way too early into his shot. Was a slower one which dips and beats Duncan to rattle the middle stump.
Che Duncan b Javel St Paul 2 (3b, 0*4 0*6)
7.3 Javel St Paul to John Olive, full toss drifting down leg, glanced away straight to the short fine leg fielder and a single taken.
7.2 Javel St Paul to Che Duncan, on a length around middle, Duncan tries to work it away towards the on side, the leading edge clears the point fielder and a single taken.
7.1 Javel St Paul to John Olive, on a fuller-length around middle, drilled down the ground from the inside half of the bat down towards the long-on region and takes a single.
Javel St. Paul, right-arm medium-fast, is into the attack
An eventful over from Shermon Lewis finally comes to an end. There were a couple of wickets in that over but Cinnamon Pacers only need six runs now. So, this game should be a formality!

6.6 Shermon Lewis to John Olive, back of a length delivery cramping Olive for space. Squeezed away off his pads towards the on side for a single.
6.6 Shermon Lewis to John Olive, that's been called a no ball. Full toss over the waist and Olive taps it back to the bowler.
6.6 Shermon Lewis to Che Duncan, down the leg side and it has been called a wide.
Oh! What is happening here? Larry Edward is run-out now. Cinnamon Pacers are complicating a simple chase!
6.5 Shermon Lewis to Larry Edwards, WICKET! This could be a wicket here. A back of a length delivery a shade outside off, Larry Edwards stands tall and punches it towards the point region, Edwards calls for a couple, should have really settled for the single, eventually Edwards has to take the long walk back to the pavilion. A direct throw from Anil Matthew from the deep.
Larry Edwards run out (Stephen Naitram/Jervin Benjamin) 2 (4b, 0*4 0*6)
6.5 Shermon Lewis to Larry Edwards, that was thrown well wide outside off, Lewis has to reload that.
6.4 Shermon Lewis to Che Duncan, on a good-length around the off-stump channel, a defensive push towards the off side and takes a quick single.
