That brings us to the end of our coverage for this Bengal Pro T20 encounter. Till the next time, this is me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off also on behalf of my fellow commentator and good mate Pragadeesh.
Sudip Gharami is the Player of the Match and also the captain of Murshidabad Kings, here is what he had to say: I was really enjoying my time in the middle as the pitch was brilliant to bat on. Took a bit more time towards the end where we should have scored more runs. I allow the ball to come onto the bat and rely on my timing. I had confidence from the start. As a team we did very well and hopefully we can continue it in the semi final. I wanted to play according to the merit of the ball. I love facing the pacers.
Shahbaz Ahmed (Shrachi Rach Tigers Captain) - We bowled really well and it's a par total but things haven't gone really well for us in this tournament. We had a lot of domestic players in this tournament and the future looks good. Personally, I want to thank everyone for this. We enjoyed the tournament and I had the extra responsibility. We had some great players like Arindam Gosh but let's see how we go about our business next year
It turned out to be a hard fought contest but at the end of it all, it was the Murshidabad Kings who upstaged the Shrachi Rarh Tigers in the 28th match of the competition by 26 runs. The match seemed to be in the balance when Sumanto Gupta was going great guns but the scoreboard pressure was a bit too much and in the end, they managed to stitch together a run win. It was Priyam Sarkar and Arindam Ghosh who opened the innings for the Rarh Tigers.
Sarkar departed early while Ghosh chipped in with a hard fought 17 off 15 deliveries. Sumanta Gupta provided the much needed impetus with a flurry of boundaries and went onto score a stroke filled 37 off 22 deliveries before a terrible mix up with his partner, resulted in a run out at a crucial juncture of the game. Out came Shahbaz Ahmad and the captain tried to change the complexion of the game.
He struck some delightful shots en route to his knock of 33 off 23 deliveries while Ayan Gupta also chipped in with a fine 31 but none of the knocks could get them close to the victory target. They never seemed to be in the match once the set partnership was broken and in the end, it was a mountain too steep to climb for the Rarh Tigers. Sayed Irfan Aftab and Sukhmeet Singh were the wreckers in chief with the ball, bagging two wickets each.

19.2 Sukhmeet Singh to Rohit Pradhan, back of a length angling back, pulled to deep mid-wicket for a single
19.1 Sukhmeet Singh to Satyaki Dutta, back of a hand slow delivery, punched down to long-off for a single
That's the end of the 19th over and the Rarh Tigers still 35 runs away from winning this so it's fair to say that the Murshidabad Kings have got thsemlves into a position to win this comfortably. The target was challenged for a while but nothing has gone in their favour.
