A comfortable victory in the end for KGS as they chase down their target with 4 balls to spare. After a commendable bowling display to restrict SMA to a par score, KGS got off to a steady start in the chase.

Openers Aravind Akash RS and Sunil Bishnoi scripted 43 runs opening stand to set the platform and tone for the rest of the innings.

SMA bowlers did make a few inroads at the death but it was too late as KGS always looked in control of the chase.

With the win, KGS extend their lead at the top with 10 points on the board while SMA slumped to their fifth defeat in 8 games.
