There were a few nervy moments, but Graz Cricket Academy got there with time to spare! The SNASY medium-pacers, Navin and Divith Wijesekara in particular, applied the squeeze on the Graz Cricket Academy top order early on, but a bad ball every now and then eased it for GCA! The same happened when the slower bowlers, especially the leg spinners came on; it was a matter of punishing the bad balls, and while there were a few that the batters missed out on, they latched onto the others, and that made the difference in the end!

Just seven runs came off the first three overs of the run-chase, thanks to some really tight bowling from the Wijesekaras. It was a struggle for the GCA openers, they just weren't able to get the timing right, and Hamid Hamidi departed due to the pressure created. Shawkat Durani and Bharath Gowda had to labour through a tough passage of play.

While Gowda failed to carry on going into the middle overs, Durani, along with Hamid Safi, stayed out there till the end, smashed the hapless Zubair Azizi for 20 in the 8th over, and killed the game off. It was a cakewalk for Graz after that.
