Commentary

So, that's that from this contest, another game of St. Lucia T10 Blast will started in 20 odd minutes. This has been myself, Pradeep along with my partner Rajarshi Das as we sign off, stay safe and take care!

Soufriere Sulphur City Stars won the game by 5 runs!

What a game it turned out to be in the end. City Stars after they posted just 99, needed to strike early but Lions got off to a rollicking start and City Stars from there on were playing catch up game.

It was around the 6th over mark where things started to take a U turn for City Stars. They picked up a few key wickets and the new batters that came in for Lions struggled to get going and the dot ball pressure always plays on the mind and the last few overs needed way too many for them.

Lions needed 12 off the last over and they lost wickets in heap in the end and they couldn't pull it off with their prime batters back in the hut. Lions just couldn't finish the game after being at the top throughout and that's what matters as to who doesn't lose their way throughout.
