So that will be that from our coverage here for this game. Let us- Sooryanarayanan Sesha, Divyansh Manchandia and Mohul Bhowmick- bid you farewell until next time! We hope you enjoyed it!

The trophy is shared between Aiden Markram, Shai Hope and the regular Proteas skipper Temba Bavuma as they convene together for a photograph. It's been quite a riveting series but if only we had some action in the first match between the two sides...

Aiden Markam (South Africa captain): Worked out really well in the end. It was a special knock by Klaasen. Well supported by Jansen as well. We all know that they are top-quality players. On the odd occasion, the situation may be tough but on other days, we play the conditions as they are. Top day today as Klaasen and Jansen did really well. We knew how powerful their batting lineup is, so we had to bowl them out. Jansen is young and moulding well into a top-class all-rounder. He was angry when he got out today, so it just shows how much it means to him. We need to do well to push for a berth in the original qualification for the World Cup coming up. About a week to go when we take on the Netherlands, but we will be ready.

Shai Hope (West Indies captain): Definitely not (our day). They clearly outplayed us today. I thought we batted well in parts but we definitely didn't execute well with the ball. We just didn't hit our straps. In a situation like this, we can't expect to conceded 260+ in less than 30 overs. You have to keep learning on the job. Glad we can take some positives from the two games. Unfortunate we couldn't have a third to gauge it completely but we have to learn quickly. (On the T20s coming up) Hopefully the guys can go well there. When you have the opportunity to perform for the West Indies you've got to do your best.

With the adjudicators unable to split them, Heinrich Klaasen and Shai Hope share the Player of the Series honors.

Presentation time. Who else but Heinrich Klaasen as today's Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: Really good wicket and that's probably one of my better knocks so really pleased at the moment. We tried to play the situation and the conditions were fantastic. There was fire with Alzarri - he fired it into my armpits. I tried to take him on and it was my day. The conditions were very good today. Test cricket is hard. I found that every time I'm making a mistake I was out. Never doubted myself - I am still hitting the ball well. Just took a couple of blows, started hitting the ball well and the confidence stays up. I love the other formats as well but I'm riding the wave at the moment. I'll do whatever I need to do to keep going.

Heinrich Klaasen was the star of the show for the hosts today, but this could not have been possible without the support from Marco Jansen. The lanky all-rounder swung quite a few lusty blows all around the park, but had to depart seven runs short of a well-deserved half-century. Earlier on in the innings, skipper Aiden Markram and returnee David

Miller too played cameos that allowed the Proteas to sail as comfortably to the total that they were chasing. For the Windies, Alzarri Joseph was the pick of the bowlers, managing to eke out three wickets in an otherwise listless performance by the rest of the bowlers.

Klaasen was the one who hit the winning runs straight down the ground by hitting leggie Yannic Cariah for a massive six. The West Indies were very poor with the ball in hand, and this was a drubbing that they absolutely deserved. South Africa will be extremely pleased with the way they got about things in this innings.

They chased down 261 in just 29.3 overs- they still had 20.3 overs left in the bank as they levelled the series! Klaasen will be extremely pleased with himself just as much as the Windies will be disappointed. Although the latter did seem like being in the game in the middle, the strong partnership between Klaasen and Jansen took the game away from them.

Shai Hope gets his wish- he gave the ball to Cariah so that Klaasen would have no problems finishing the game off in style- fulfilled!

29.3 Yannic Cariah to Heinrich Klaasen, FOUR! SEALED WITH A STAMP OF AUTHORITY! It is so fitting that this man has the final say in the contest. He has dished out a good old-fashioned hammering to the visitors to level the series. Flighted into the arc just outside the off stump from over the wicket and Klaasen comes forward to pump it dead straight over the bowler's head. Nearly travels the full distance but it'll do for the Proteas. Take a bow, Heinrich Klaasen. South Africa annihilate West Indies by 4 wickets with 123 deliveries to spare. They draw the 3-match series 1-1!
