Laura Wolvaardt (captain, South Africa): Can't ask for a better game. A good first half with the bat followed by the ball. We were a bit confused about what to do at the toss. The batting order has been tough to decide. We got the runs on the board and wanted to kill the game and happy to have done so. Every day has been different, it has been nice to have so many options in pace and spin. Massive game for us, we need a win after having lost the last one and hopefully we hit the ground running in that contest

Kathryn Bryce (captain, Scotland): It is the little moments throughout the game. We put down chances when bowling and lost wickets when batting that put us behind in the contest. Usually your are not under too much pressure and to execute that time and again could be tough. It is great to share the knowledge and share the field against them. They are a really good side. It is going to be tough but Sharjah is going have different conditions. We will have a discussion about it soon

Marizanne Kapp (Player of the Match, 43 runs off 24 balls): The wicket was a bit slower today, and the heat and the humidity were not helping either. But luckily, it came off for me! It's more a confidence thing for me, focusing on the basics and getting the job done. It was a good total yes, but I still think we could have pushed towards the 180-mark or even 190. Anyway, we'll take the win.

A mammoth victory for South Africa as they top the group and knock out Scotland with this heavy defeat. The Proteas Women have boosted their chances of qualification and will hope that the other fixtures in the group go their way.

Scotland started off poorly by losing early wickets in the powerplay. Bryce sisters and Saskia Horley failed to make an impact on this contest. They lost wickets at regular intervals with only Katherine Fraser making a big contribution with the bat in hand towards the fag end of the game. They will now wait in anticipation for their last league game and hope to end their tournament with a win.

Nonkululeko Mlaba seems to enjoy the venue as with a three-fer in this game, she has picked up seven wickets in two contests now. Nadine de Klerk and Chloe Tryon aided her really well two wickets to their name with the others, barring Marizanne Kapp chipping in with a wicket each
