It will be a frustrating loss for the Bugibba Blasters as they were ahead until the eighth over. However, this win helps Southern Crusaders to advance to the semi-finals. Chasing 97 for victory, Gaurav Maithani started on a superb note but he got out off the final ball of the first over bowled by Zeshan Yousaf. However, Danish Siddique opened up and made the most of the Powerplay. Out of nowhere, Siddique got into a shell before he was dismissed by Basil George in the seventh over. The pair of Amar Sharma and Prajwal Kohad were still going well for Bugibba but the former's defensive batting eventually hurt him. Adeel Latheef came back to dismiss Amar in the ninth over while he also sent back Suresh Dobal to put Southern Crusaders on the top. Eventually, Zeshan Yousaf bowled a fine last over as the Crusaders wrapped up a 12-run victory!
