Spain gets a second chance to make their place in the finals as they face off against Sweden in the second qualifier! They get just have over an hour's time to regroup and rethink their strategies against Sweden who are pretty high on confidence as of late.

The equation came down to 12 runs needed in 12 balls and Saber lost his wicket just then! However, Omid the new man in was fearless and smashed back-to-back sixes and sealed the deal. A comfortable victory in the end for Belgium as they march on into the finals!

Wickets tumbled in quick succession and Spain had a glimpse that they are back in this contest. However, Saber and Sheraz held their nerve and got their side back on top. They fired away the boundaries and made sure that Belgium continued to stay on to in this chase.

Just after that the partnership was finally broken and Muneeb was sent back to the hut. However, Belgium were in a commanding position as they had already scored half of the runs from the target by the end of the powerplay. However, things took a turn just after that.

Coming in to chase 114 runs had a great start. Muneeb and Raza opening the batting for Belgium found the boundaries and maximums and got things rolling from the start. The duo tonked Hamza bowling the second over for 29 runs and went on to stitch the fastest 50 run opening stand in ECC T10.

GAME SET MATCH!! A dozen needed for Belgium, Omid walks in the a tense scenario and manages to belt away a couple of sixes to seal the deal! The Belgium players hurry onto the field in delight as they become the first team to reach the finals!

8.3 Kuldeep Lal to Omid Rahimi , SIX MORE AND BELGIUM WIN! Rahimi has no intentions to delay the victory and he clinches it in style! Full length delivery again, just outside off stump. Rahimi is deep in his crease, and he's thrashed this hard, sending the ball sailing over cow corner region for a maximum. Belgium seal their finals spot, and are the first team going through to the finals week.

8.2 Kuldeep Lal to Omid Rahimi , SIX!!! DROPPED! Too full and too straight on the stumps. Rahimi blasts this one high in the air, and just inside the ropes. The fielder comes under it from long off but he ends up pushing the ball over the fence in an attempt to catch it. That should be the game now!

8.1 Kuldeep Lal to Saber Zakhil , OUT! CAUGHT! Spain are still in the game! Slower delivery, full on the off stump. Zakhil tries to send this over the ropes, but only manages a top edge, that flies into the air, and lands in the hands of Perman at point. Good start to the over for Spain.
