CIC won by 63 runs SPA - 47/10 (6.10 overs) Andrew Libby - 19(10) Adam Kennedy - 3/14 | Allen Coulter - 2/6
An excellent bowling display from CIC to bundle out SPA for a trivial score and seal the match comfortably by a massive margin of 63 runs. SPA batters never looked in control of the run-chase and kept losing wickets right from the start. Apart from tailender Andrew Libby, no batter managed to hit double digits as CIC bowlers decimated the SPA batting lineup.
For CIC, Adam Kennedy was the pick of the bowlers with three scalps to his name while Allen Coulter and Carson McCullough contributed with two wickets each.
With the win, CIC registered their second consecutive win while SPA succumbed to their first loss in the Championship Week.
6.1 John Matchett to Andrew Libby, OUT! IT'S ALL OVER! Libby charges down the wicket early, Matchett spots it and pulls his length back, keeping it on a good length outside off, Libby goes through with a lofted drive over the off side, the ball took the edge, bobbled up towards short third, and the man there took a simple catch! CIYMS hand Sporting Alfas a drubbing here today, taking the honours by 63 runs!
6.1 John Matchett to Andrew Libby, wide, full and down the leg side, Libby looks to sweep but misses
John Matchett, right-arm medium fast, to bowl the seventh over.
A late surge from the SPA tailenders as Andrew Libby hits a maximum and a boundary to propel their cause as much possible.

5.6 Adam Kennedy to Andrew Libby, short delivery on leg stump, pulled away towards the man at deep square for a single
5.5 Adam Kennedy to Andrew Libby, FOUR! This was banged in short on leg stump, Libby rocked back, pulled this one over the man at short fine and sent the back racing to the ropes!
5.4 Adam Kennedy to Andrew Libby, SIX! Not where he wanted to hit it, but he gets maximum reward for it! Good length delivery on leg stump, Libby ran down the wicket and looked to heave it towards the leg side, got a thick edge, and the ball ended up flying over the ropes at third man!
5.3 Adam Kennedy to Jake Sunderland, right up in the blockhole on off stump, Sunderland squeezed the ball out to deep point for a single
Jake Sunderland is the last batter in.
5.2 Adam Kennedy to Darren Walker, BOWLED HIM! The fat lady has started to sing! This was on a good length on middle stump, angled across the left hander. Walker looked to move away and glide it towards third man, didn't make contact, and the ball went on to hit the top of off stump!
Darren Walker b Adam Kennedy 0 (1b 0X4 0X6)
5.1 Adam Kennedy to Paul Quinlan, OUT! THE PROCESSION CONTINUES! This was full outside off stump, Quinlan looked to loft the ball over cover, got more height than distance, the fielder at deep cover got across to his right, settled under it and took the catch!
Paul Quinlan c Allen Coulter b Adam Kennedy 2 (4b 0X4 0X6)
Adam Kennedy to bowl next.
Another over another wicket as Chris Robinson gets a scalp under his belt now. It's looking very bleak for SPA from here on and will need a miracle to pull themselves from the jaws a defeat and script a heroic comeback.
