What an unbelievable comeback from the Sri Lankan Lions as they sneak in a nine-run victory! Defending 117 for victory, the Lions got off to a bad start as Moufflons raced off to 37/0 after two overs. Zeeshan Sarwar continue to strike cleanly but Suresh Janaka pulled the Lions into the game by dismissing Shoaib Ahmad and Gurdip Sharma in the third over.

Thereafter, the innings started to nosedive as Lions continued to bowl economical overs while Janaka also removed Zeeshan in the fifth over. Roshan Siriwardana made further inroads with two wickets in the sixth over but Sushil Kumar tried to counter-attack from that situation. Sushil smacked 19 runs off the eighth over to make the game interesting. However, two wickets in the penultimate over bowled by Chamal Sadun meant that the Moufflons needed 12 off the last six balls. However, Muhammad Bilal got out off the first ball while Sushil only got the strike on the fourth delivery when Lakhwinder Singh was run-out!
