The Sri Lankan Lions have pulled this game off and this has been a brilliant effort from them! The Zalmi were in the game for the first half of the innings as Umar Shah and Jawad Shah went all guns blazing for the first five overs! Umar in particular was at his destructive best as he raked up the runs and smashed the bowlers all round the park en route his 64 of just 24 balls! However, once he was gone , the rest of the middle order failed to accelerate and capitulated under pressure.

The Sri Lankan Lions bowlers took some tap early on but they came back really well and bowled in the right areas and got the wickets! They were incredibly tidy as they just gave away 1 extra in their whole innings! Roshan Siriwardana was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 4 wickets and cleaned up the tail, although he was a bit expensive. Suresh Janaka also bowled really well and picked up a couple of key wickets including that of Jawad Shah and Zia ul Haq.

9.4 Roshan Siriwardana to Muhammad Farhad, OUT! STUMPED! Length ball outside off fired across the right-hander, Farhad puts on his dancing shoes as he shimmies down the track and looks to smack it away but fails to make any connection. The keeper effects a quick stumping and that's another one for Siriwardana! Huzaifa will not take the crease after he picked up an injury while fielding. He's absent hurt and Limassol Zalmi are ALL OUT!
