That's all from us now! This is Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of my friend and co-commentator Mohul Bhowmick. See you soon!
David Miller, Paarl Royals Captain and Player of the Match- It was a bit challenging but I had spend some time at the wicket and I could assess the wind conditions and hit those sixes accordingly! It was a slow surface and I feel our bowlers did extremely well. I feel Jos did really well and he adapted really well. His consistency has been key for us and he has been the rock at the top of the order. The competition seems to be wide open at the moment now and the crowds have been outstanding and long may the continue!
Aiden Markram, captain of Sunrisers Eastern Cape: A few runs short of where we would have liked to be. The boys will want to get away, clear their minds and come back fresh for our next matches. The crowd here has been awesome. On behalf of all the players, I would like to say thank you to them. This is an amazing venue to be playing cricket in. This tournament is brilliant for all our local players.
Post Match presentation coming up!
Paarl Royals 131/5 in 18.5 overs Jos Buttler 51(39) | Roelof vd Merwe 2/11 David Miller 37(23) | JJ Smuts 1/19
What an emphatic win for the Paarl Royals! They came here on the back of a great victory against the Pretoria Capitals and they turned the tables on the Sunrisers Eastern Cape! Skipper David Miller led from the front as he played yet another blinder to ensure an easy win in the end but at one stage it was looking quite dicey.
The Royals started off well with their Talisman Jos Buttler getting them off to a flyer but the Sunrisers spinners came in and turned the tide. Roelof vd Merwe was unbelievable as he got huge wickets in the middle overs and got this game wide open. He got able support from JJ Smuts who was accurate and chipped in with a key wicket. Once Buttler departed after a well made 50, it looked like a 50-50 game with the advantage tilted slightly in favor of the home side.
The turning point in the game was Sisanda Magala's 18th over! David Miller launched into him as he went "pace on" the ball and missed his lengths. He smashed three huge sixes in that over and literally sealed the game from there. In the end Vilas played his part too and they won with 7 balls to spare.
Overall, it has been yet another incredible game of cricket here in the SA 20 and the Paarl Royals have prevailed over the Sunrisers Eastern Cape. They will continue their upward march in the tournament after getting off to an on and off start initially. The Sunrisers will be disappointed with their effort and it's their batting that has let them down. They will have to go back to the drawing board and get their act together.
Paarl Royals win by 5 wickets and 7 balls to spare!

Brydon Carse [3.0-0-19-0] back into the attack.
David Miller you beauty!! He tore apart Magala in that over and smashed him for three massive sixes. It was always going to be about that one over and Miller held his nerve and got that over.

17.6 Sisanda Magala to Dane Vilas, FOUR! LUCKY! Yorker on leg, Vilas just about manages to get his bat down in time. But as luck would have it, the ball takes the cue end of his bat and steers past between his legs quickly to the fine leg boundary for four!
17.5 Sisanda Magala to David Miller, at a length outside off, moves away. Miller punches it towards cover for a run.
17.4 Sisanda Magala to David Miller, SIX! ANOTHER ONE! In the slot on off and middle. Miller clears his front leg, stands tall and absolutely clobbers it away over deep midwicket for another maximum!
17.3 Sisanda Magala to David Miller, at a length on middle and leg. Miller wrists it away off the crease towards deep square leg and picks up a brace.
Magala has lost his lines here and David Miller hasn't missed out. The Royals are back in contention now.
17.2 Sisanda Magala to David Miller, SIX MORE! Fullish and a tad wide outside off, moves away. Miller stands steady and extends his hands through the line to loft it over deep cover for another maximum! This one was a huge hit- it hit the roof of the stand!
