That's it from us, Bala and Rajarshi, as we sign off having completed our coverage for this year's ECS Netherlands T10. T10 action from Europe will be back in two days, with the ECS Bulgaria T10 set to get underway on the 18th. We look forward to bringing you live-action for the same, for the time being, to enjoy our IPL coverage of the game between the Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, switch tabs as Soorya and Maanas bring you all the action from a truly mouth-watering clash. For the time being though, from us, it is a very hearty goodbye!

The finish to the game was unreal. The Punjab Rotterdam players turned up when it mattered the most. Yasir Usman stole the show from the Zulfiqar brothers in the end, all in a great cause. Rotterdam were struggling at the early stages of the run-chase, with both their openers back in the hut. Khogyani's wicket looked like a punch to the gut, especially given that he was given a life a few balls earlier. But then, two out of the four Zulfiqar brothers set about on a serious rebuild. They slowly steadied the ship, but they still needed a couple of good overs to get on par with the required rate. Those two overs came along as well with the introduction of Ajmal Arghandiwal into the attack in the 6th over, as the Zulfiqars feasted on some juicy gentle in-swinging half-volleys by dispatching them to and over the mid-wicket boundary. The following over from off-spinner Pierre Jacod yieded even better results for the chasing team, as 24 runs came along with utmost ease. Gert Swanepoel uprooting Saqib's middle-stump first ball of the 8th over might have given a ray of hope for Kampong, but then, in came the man who turned out to be one for the big occasion. Yasir Usman. Nerves of steel. He swung once, then twice, and then a couple times more, and the game was killed. The winning runs were deservedly left for Sikander Zulfiqar to hit, and he did so in some style, piercing the gap at mid-wicket for four. The Punjab Rotterdam will be taking a wonderful trophy home, the one contested for the ECS Netherlands 2022, for they have clinched the summit clash of the competition having played some memorable and exciting cricket throughout the campaign, the eventual margin being 8 wickets and 11 balls to spare.

It's taking me quite a bit of pondering to describe the phenomenon that was Usman in that over. The ECS is too easy for him. It's hard to imagine Punjab Rotterdam were finding runs hard to come by at one stage. Usman walks in on the re-build done by two of the Zulfiqars, and merely swings and connects at everything he received. Just the 22 off his 5 deliveries, not a big deal! Game's almost done, and how!
