Svanholm beat Star CC by 7 wickets.

It was a pretty comprehensive victory for Svanholm but they could have perhaps scored their winning runs a little quicker to finish higher up in the Group A table. They are currently placed at 4th with 3 wins, registering 6 points on the board. Star CC, after losing all their 5 matches, stay at the bottom of the table at 6th.

The Star CC batting effort needed much more run-scoring momentum as the initial few overs went for around about 6 runs per over, which, in a T10 game, is not at all up to the mark. Then they picked up the run-rate somewhat, courtesy Shiv Karan Gill and Roshan Vishwanath towards the end, but otherwise, with 4 wickets still left, their score of 80 was really not going to be enough.

The 2nd innings was very much one-way traffic, as Hamid Shah, the Svanholm captain, along with Saud Munir, were free-flowing with the bat, putting away most loose deliveries that came their way. They were helped a lot by the misfields and drop catches but till Hamid Shah was there, Svanholm looked like chasing the target down inside 8 overs. A bit of a theatre was created with a few dot balls towards the end but Svanholm ensured that everything was put to bed with the winning run.

It now remains to be seen where they finish finally in the table. For now, from the beautiful Cartama Oval in Cartama, Malaga, we await the final match of the day in Group A.
