A pretty easy game for Portugal in the end as they wrap up the victory over Sweden with two overs to spare. The Portuguese bowlers weren't at their best as they gave away 120 runs in the first innings. However, Muhammad Adnan gave a quick-fire start to set up the chase. Adnan did get out in the second over but Kuldeep Gholiya ensured a strong finish to the Powerplay. Gholiya continued to smack the Swedish bowlers for fun until he fell five runs short of what would have been a well-deserved fifty.

Just when Sweden thought they had a chance, Najam Shahzad came out and smacked a six off his very first ball. A huge sixth over costing 21 runs meant that Portugal ran away with the game pretty early on. Both Suman and Ghimire and Najam got out in the space of a few deliveries but Parveen Singh ensured there were no more hiccups as he finished the game with a boundary
