A couple of massive hits and Arif Muhammad has finished this game off for the United in a nonchallant way. The United have clinched this game in just 7 overs and it has been an absolutely clinical batting effort from them under overcast conditions.

It was a Muhammad Ajmal show in the powerplay and he ensured that the Mater Dei would have no chances of making a comeback as he hammered it all over the park in the first three overs. United got 48 runs in the powerplay and there was no looking back from there onwards. There were some wickets in the middle overs but Arif came in and sealed the victory in style.

The Mater Dei bowlers took some real beating except for Amar Sharma. He picked up two wickets in one over but the game was already out of Mater Dei's hand by that time. Suhrid Roy also picked up a wicket but he was far too expensive for their liking.
