Muhammad Qasim has successfully defended 7 runs from the final over and the Crusaders have pulled off what has been an absolute humdinger. The game swung like a pendulam from one end to the other and it seemed like the Crusaders had it in their pocket when they needed 7 runs from the final over, but they choked to fall short by 1 run in the end.

Affy Khan and Gopal Thakur put up an outstanding partnership where they put on a dazzling display of strokemaking and kept up a relentless onslaught of hitting. Khan picked up a well made 60 while Thakur gave him good company at the other end as he made 67 from just 23 balls.

The bowlers took some real beating for the greater part of the innings but they came back solidly in the end. Ajmal was once again unbelievably good and he is the player of the game yet again. He picked up two wickets while the other two were run outs. Muhammad Qasim also bowled a phenomenal final over where he held on to his nerves to help his side clinch this thriller.
