Sydney Sixers with 3 wins out of 3. Absolutely brilliant performance from them after a horrible last season.
Stars with their second loss in a row, they never really got going in the chase with over 60 dot balls. After a wonderful start from Winfield and Heath with a partnership of 50. There was no partnership after that which resulted in their loss, they kept losing wickets and the boundaries started to dry up. The power surge overs were also not taken smartly as they lost a key wicket just before taking it. Faltum and Garth tried their best in the middle overs, but they also could not convert their starts into a match winning innings.

Brown with 32 to defend in the last over, cleaned out the tail-enders and took 3 wickets in the over. Gardner bowled really well and took 2 important wickets. Cheatle, Ecclestone and Bolton took a wicket in the middle overs as well to stop the flow of the batters.
