An absolute mega performance from the Strikers. After the kind of show they put up on the field, this was the last thing many would have expected. They came out with the best possible intent, with openers Amjad and Khan smashing the new ball bowlers all around the park for fun. Deepak Kumar took out the latter in the third over thanks to an excellent catch from Chandrappa. But then both Amjad and Shayan got even more belligerent to finish things off before the sixth over. With that, they took all four points from the game too.
