So, that will be it from the first of the three matches today at the Zayed Stadium. The next one begins in another half-an-hour from now, so, do join us for that by switching tabs. This is the pair of Rudransh and Bidipto taking your leave. Keep following Sportskeeda!
Angelo Mathews (Northern Warriors captain): It was a decent performance! After that start that Team Abu Dhabi got, our bowlers did really well to pull them back to just over 100. Lovely to see Kennar Lewis and Hazratullah Zazai finish it off like that! Still early days, but, our fielding and catching have been good up to now but we still can improve in all three departments.
Tabraiz Shamsi (Player of the match): We played yesterday and I got smashed all over the show. Today I got two wickets. That's T10 cricket. You need to stick to your guns. You just look to go one or two runs below the 10/over mark. 80 meter boundary, we don't often get those so my plan was simple to bowl according to that. You can plan for guys like Tom Banton but sometimes you just need a bit of luck and not be too dissapointed if you get hit.
Northern Warriors win by 10 wickets with an over to spare!
It was not that big a chase for the Warriors and they made sure in the end to finish it off with six balls to spare without losing a wicket. Even though Team Abu Dhabi might have expected spin to work against the opposition opening batters, both Hazratullah Zazai and Kennar Lewis batted magnificently to thwart the bowling completely!
Rumman Raees and Roelof van der Merwe were the only two bowlers to make a slight impact but strangely enough, van der Merwe was not brought on to bowl earlier.
The body language of Team Abu Dhabi was never the best and not really up for the challenge. The bowling too was not that disciplined and tight. They could not make a match out of this one.
So, the Northern Warriors get yet another impressive win under their belt but Team Abu Dhabi have now lost two out of their three matches so far!

8.6 Dwaine Pretorius to Hazratullah Zazai, SIX! IT TOOK JUST ONE HIT ONLY! Slower one outside off, Zazai swings his bat in a beautiful motion, over long off and out of the field! The Warriors take a massive 10-wicket win!
The 100 comes up for Northern Warriors! One hit away now.
8.5 Dwaine Pretorius to Hazratullah Zazai, FOUR! 100 up for the Warriors! Looks to go for the wide yorker again and gets a thick outside edge that flies over third man!
8.4 Dwaine Pretorius to Kennar Lewis, full and outside off, dabbed to point for one
8.3 Dwaine Pretorius to Hazratullah Zazai, slow and full outside off, dragged to deep mid-wicket for just one
8.3 Dwaine Pretorius to Hazratullah Zazai, WIDE, outside off-stump
8.2 Dwaine Pretorius to Kennar Lewis, full and wide, Lewis drives it to deep point for one
8.1 Dwaine Pretorius to Hazratullah Zazai, full and flighted outside off, driven to wide of long off for one
Dwaine Pretorius [1.0-0-17-0] comes back into the attack.
Wonder why Pretorius did not bring van der Merwe on to bowl earlier! Anyway, they are still somehow in this if they do not give away another boundary. That will be difficult of course but the chance is still there for Team Abu Dhabi.
