Commentary

Right then, Pleven will be pretty pleased with their effort with the ball. Black Smiths started off well in the chase but after that first over, they couldn't quite get going as they would have liked to, leaving to much to do for the end despite having wickets in hand. They could probably have shown better intent in this chase, eventually falling short even though they had all wickets in hand.

Pleven were under pressure as we did think the runs might not be enough. However, they came back well after the opening over, ensured that they kept things tight and in the end, defended the total successfully as their captain did the job with the ball to finish things off nicely for them. Their first win with that and they will be happy.

A shortened game but nonetheless, we have had action and that is all we have from this encounter then. Hopefully, more cricket to come if the weather stays in favor. For the moment, this is Bidipto and Rishab signing off. Stay tuned as we return for more shortly!
