What an emphatic win for the Titou Gorge Splashers! They've chased down this big total without breaking any sweat. It looked really difficult for them at the halfway stage but the openers had other ideas. Skipper Jerlani Robinson led from the front as he smashed an unbeaten 58 off 25 balls. He was ably supported by Seandell Regis who remained unbeaten on 44 off just 25 balls and saw them over the line. Robinson might be slightly disappointed at having not finished it off but regardless it has been an outstanding performance from him and he is the deserving man of the match of this game.

The Valley Hikers bowlers had a really bad day and nothing worked in their favor. They dished out an all out spin attack in front of the Splashers and they gleefully accepted that. They failed to get the wickets at the key junctures and the dropped chances really cost them in the end. Alex Antoine got the solitary wicket for them and it was only a consolation in the end.

Overall, this has been an unbelievable batting effort from the Splashers and they can be really proud of this performance. They will take a lot of confidence from this game and they will be looking to carry on with the momentum in the future games. The Valley Hikers have a lot to ponder about though. They will have to get their act together and especially work on their bowling and fielding.

9.1 Jamie James to Malakai Xavier, that will be that! James dropped the ball short just outside off, Xavier rocked back and went for the cut, the fielder at cover might have got a hand to it, the ball crawled into the gap at deep cover, the batters came back for a comfortable second, and as a result, the winning run! The Titou Gorge Splashers clinch the match in the last over and climb up the table!

End of a really eventful over! Alex Antoine got the huge wicket of skipper Jerlani Robinson, but he was taken to the cleaners by the other batters. 23 runs came of that over in the end and the match is all but over now.
