A hat trick to cap off a comfortable win for Baneasa, their second for the day! 135 was always going to be a difficult total for the newbies. Baneasa started with back-to-back overs of spin which didn't allow the Transylvania batters to get any momentum on a pitch that had a lot of bounce and some turn.

No batter went past 20 runs as Baneasa kept rotating their spinners. Nawaz was supreme at the start. Kishore and Strang did have a mini partnership there but Thathsara killed the only sign of resurgence by getting both of them out in his first over.

Till the time Aleem came for his second over the match was done and dusted and his tight length was met with all-out but undercooked attack from the batters, resulting in heaps of wickets. Appari and Strang were the obvious positives for Transylvania on debut and they look like they can do with a bit of experience in this tournament.
