Commentary

A massive win for Trentino this as they restricted the Cricket Stars after they started off well in the first over. It looked like we were going to have a solid chase but they lost their way as the wickets kept falling and eventually, were nowhere close falling well short in the end. Trentino bowled well to make sure they did not allow the Stars to get close and picked up wickets in clusters.

They had a big total on the board but it still needed some good bowling to defend the total, which they comfortably did to register a huge victory. They batted their opponents out of the contest and then put up a good all-round effort as four of their bowlers picked up a couple of wickets each. This win will give them immense confidence going ahead in the tournament against one of the favorites as well.

A tough game for the Stars with both the bat and the ball. Their bowlers took a hammering and the pressure of a big chase got the better of their batters. For the first time this team has been outplayed and it is a wake up call for them as they have to perform better when put under this kind of pressure. The Stars will be keen to put this loss behind quickly and bounce back.
