Right then, this is one of the most clinical shows that you will see in a run-chase from United. Their skipper Ramesh Satheesan showed intent right from the start and he was a man on a mission, playing a fabulous innings as he took the game away single-handedly from the opposition. United put up a brilliant opening stand that killed the game and made it a one-sided affair in the end.

ACCB struggled to put any kind of pressure on the batters right through the innings. They have just had a poor outing with the ball and it seemed like they did not have a certain plan in place. They did have the runs on the board but they did not bowl well.

United have avenged their defeat from last season against ACCB that denied them of a place in the final. They will be high on confidence with this win first up and it will come as a massive boost that their skipper has fired with both bat and ball right-away.

For ACCB, they have some thinking to do, specially with their bowling if they are to come back strong after an opening loss like the one that they have had here!
