That brings us to the end of our coverage for this encounter. Till the next time, this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off also on behalf of my fellow commentator and good mate Soumarya Dutta.
The target of 121 was never going to be an easy run chase for the Royal Eagles. Still, some impressive batting from the likes of Sachin Chauhan and Avinash Puthran ensured that they eventually won the game in the final over, with a couple of deliveries left. The opening duo of Sachin Chauhan and Shubham Dhari started off well. The first over didn't quite yield too many runs but Fasih Atif got some treatment in the 2nd over. ]
Sachin Chauhan looked in a terrific touch right from the outset and smashed 23 runs in that over to get the momentum in their favour. Shubham Dhari was dismissed soon after, but with Chauhan in that form, it looked like the Eagles will give the Csalad Budapest a run for their money. Gaurang Talreja after struggling initially started finding the boundaries and shared a good stand with Chauhan.
Talreja smashed a couple of fours and sixes each before his departure. However, by then, the match was almost in their pocket. The required rate went down below 10 and with Chauhan out in the middle, it looked like the Eagles will chase this down. In the company of Avinash Puthran, Chauhan kept smashing the boundaries but became a bit late exhausted towards the final stages of the innings.
That is when Puthran took the onus on himself and struck some amazing shots to eventually get his side over the finish line with a couple of deliveries to spare. For Budapest, Ashrith Darapureddy and Ghulam Abbas were the pick of the bowlers with a wicket to their names.
Royal Eagles 121/2 in 9.4 overs Sachin Chauhan 63*(29) | Ghulam Abbas 1/18 Gaurang Talreja 26(14) | Ashrith Daruppureddy 1/22
9.4 Francis Farrell to Avinash Puthran, that's the game set and match. Puthran taps it away towards the on side and takes a single.
9.3 Francis Farrell to Avinash Puthran, that was a full toss again but was it over the stumps. Might just be dipping and Puthran misses out on the swing across the line.
9.2 Francis Farrell to Avinash Puthran, on a fuller-length a shade outside off, Puthran throws his hands at that but doesnt make any contact.
9.1 Francis Farrell to Avinash Puthran, FOUR! Another ill-directed delivery. On the pads and that has been flicked away towards the deep midwicket region and a valiant dive from the fielder not enough.
Six and a four from Avinash Puthran in that over and this game seems to be all but over for the Eagles. They just have to get 5 runs from the final over with two set batters in the middle.

8.5 Fasih Atif to Avinash Puthran, SIX! That has been hammered down the ground for a maximum. On a length around the middle stump and Puthran nails it well over the long-on fence.
8.4 Fasih Atif to Avinash Puthran, FOUR! Fuller-length delivery on the pads and that has been nicely clipped away towards the backward square leg region where the fielder makes a meal of it, conceding a boundary.
8.3 Fasih Atif to Sachin Chauhan, a low full toss around the middle stump channel, slogged away from the inner half of the bat towards the deep midwicket region for a single.
8.3 Fasih Atif to Sachin Chauhan, that was a full one well wide outside off and the umpire called a no ball but later changes his decision to a wide.
8.2 Fasih Atif to Sachin Chauhan, fuller around middle, jammed away back to the bowler.
8.1 Fasih Atif to Avinash Puthran, on a good-length angling into Puthran. He misses out on the flick and ends up getting a leg bye single.
Fasih Atif [1.0-0-22-0] comes back into the attack.
Sachin Chauhan hits a boundary there to end that over and it helped to release the pressure. This game is still hanging in balance though.
