United Csalad win by 7 wickets with 19 balls to spare

A meagre target of 71 was never going to be enough in front of the stacked Csalad batting lineup. And that is exactly what happened in the second half of the game. Openers Tejendra Varma and Vinoth Ravindran came out of the blocks in a blistering manner and nullified any threat that the Vikings' bowler may have carried.

While Vinoth departed after the powerplay overs, he had already done the damage. Consequently, it was difficult for Vikings to stage any comeback. In at no. 3 Ashrith Darapureddy also played some delightful shots and ensured that his team went over the victory shores and collected the all-important two points.

At no point, it appeared like Csalad were in trouble. They did lose a few wickets in a clump but even then Vikings' never showed the heart to compete. However, the losing side has a chance to restore the parity in a few minutes time as both teams lock horns once again in the double header.
