A brilliant win for the ICA Berlin as they register their a win in their tournament opener, eclipsing USG Chemnitz by four runs.

Arriving for a tricky chase of 89 runs, Chemnitz lost a couple of early wickets. This restricted their run-scoring rate as they could manage only 18 runs inside the powerplay.

Varun Soraganvi and Sangeeth Uadayan hanged around for a while but could not do much impact. Ram Balagam and Tarun Dhraik were brilliant during the middle over bursts and induced a collapse when the chasing team would look to accelerate.

The brakes were applied and it all came down the final over demanding 19 runs. Amrit Pal and Muhammad Suleman could get only eight runs off the first three balls with the next two following up as single and leg bye. Eventually, the defense was successful for Berlin and the raced past the finishing line.
