Commentary

This has been Pragadeesh and myself (Rishab) as we bid goodbye. Do stay tuned to catch all the action from the final ECS T10 game of the day coming shortly. We have had three good games so far and you do not want to miss out!

Right then, we have had three good games in a row here on the opening day. Vienna CC looked in control of the chase for most part but they ended up falling short in the end. They were just about keeping the rate ticking, did manage to get in a good over as well but lost some key wickets at the backend that cost them the game eventually.

Austrian Cricket Tigers were under pressure as Vienna CC were going just about fine and had the chase under control. However, they came back really well at the backend with some tidy overs and picking key wickets at the right times as well. Their fielding was quite impressive at the backend as well and their bowlers showed some discipline throughout to defend this total.

They will be pleased to have defended this total the way they did and it is crucial to start off on a winning note isn't it? This will give them confidence going further ahead as the tournament progresses. Vienna CC just lot their way after having things under control and need to strategize a bit better.

They will have an opportunity to redeem themselves as the two sides face off once again in some time from now. Can they level scores on opening day or will it be the Austrian Cricket Tigers who will make it two wins in a row?

A fantastic win for the Austrian Cricket Tigers as they successfully defend their total in the end. Some brilliant bowling throughout and particularly at the death, with some exceptional fielding as well. ACT start the tournament with a 10-run win!
