Clearly, Noor Ahmadzai and Sabawoon Davizi's spell made the difference in the end and Donaustadt open their account in the campaign. Well, the chase began in an interesting manner as Jha and Karanbir went after the bowlers inside the powerplay to give the team a steady start. It looked like the Eagles are in control of this run chase but Ahmadzai controlled things with his pace before Davizi used his variations to put the batters on the back foot at the back end

The duo conceded just 15 runs combined and picked up three key wickets to take the wind out of the Eagles' sails and help Donaustadt defend the score eventually. The Eagles suffered their second straight defeat but they would pleased with this performance after capitulating easily at the hands of the Tigers in their first match.
