That brings us to the end of this contest as rain has had the final say. The Voyagers have gone on to win the game by 38 runs under DLS method and have stormed into the top four. They have currently jumped to the 3rd spot with a resounding win in the end. Ryshon Williams and Shaqkere Parris began tentatively. Parris was dismissed by Goodridge in the very first over.

Williams and Primus needed to up the ante in the powerplay which was possible due to an onslaught from Roshon Primus who smashed 17 runs of Dre Springer's first over. However, after that over, it was all about the Voyagers bowlers as they kept nailing their deliveries and didn't allow the batters to find the boundaries. The required rate kept climbing up and there was no way back in the end. When rain brought an abrupt end to the play, the Guardians were still 55 runs away from the victory target.
