Zain Mustafa and Muhammad Sufyan tore into the bowling attack of Pleven and made them pay for all the mistakes that they made. They made the task of chasing eighty-one runs as easy as if they were chasing something along the lines of thirty or forty.

The bowlers of Pleven, of course, made their task extremely easy by bowling too short and wide at times. When they did not bowl short and wide, they pitched the ball right in the slot and allowed either Mustafa or Sufyan to get under it and plonk it out of the ground.

It can be argued that it was the third over of this innings, bowled by Mohammad Arham, that tilted the chase completely in favour of Plovdiv. Pleven will have to look inwards and come up with solutions as to what went wrong for them today. Plovdiv, on the other hand, will be extremely pleased with their showing and take this momentum further into the competition.

7.3 Amal Thomas to Zain Asif, FOUR! THAT'S IT! Asif finishes things in style for Plovdiv, they pick up their second win of the tournament. Back of a length on the middle and leg, Asif swipes it hard and races to deep square-leg fence for a boundary to seal the game.
