Match summary:
Warriors win by 7 wickets with 1 ball to spare
Jonathan Carter 33*(10) | Zidan Harewood 7(9) Akeem Springer 48*(22) | Dwayne Smith 8*(16)
The skies get murky after the game ends. That has been the story thus far today - we've had a couple of long interruptions in play as the weather had a telling say for the first time in this competition. Akeem Springer, in the first innings, was going all guns blazing, making up for the struggle of his skipper, the experienced Dwayne Smith at the other end. The Voyagers were set for a total in excess of 120, only for the rain to put an end to their innings.
A target of 63 off 6 overs was always going to favour the chasing side. Same was the case for the Warriors. They started off well with 11 in the first over, but were tied down a touch in the second. Marradon Bend's wicket turned out to be a blessing in disguise for them - Jonathan Carter came in and took the game by the scruff of the neck!
Carter eventually went on to smash 33 out of the eventual 57 by the Warriors. Some of the hits were humongous - the houses in the neighborhood were in danger while the all-rounder was in the middle! With help from Alcindo Holder and Yvan Grant, Carter guided the Warriors through with a delivery to spare, handing his side a much-needed win.
4.5 Dwayne Smith to Jonathan Carter, SIX! The Warriors win! Jonathan Carter wins it for his side with a blockbuster 10-ball 33! Full outside off, the left-hander carves this one with power towards the off side, and goes on to clear the ropes at cover!
4.4 Dwayne Smith to Yvan Grant, full toss outside off, Grant got this one through the in-field with a slash, the man at sweeper got across and cut it off. Scores are level...
4.3 Dwayne Smith to Jonathan Carter, full toss on off, Carter opens the face of his blade and guides this one towards point. Just a single
4.2 Dwayne Smith to Jonathan Carter, SIX! High full toss, close to the waist, in fact. Carter gave it a juicy whack, and the man at deep square turned out to be a mere spectator!
4.1 Dwayne Smith to Yvan Grant, yorker, just outside off, dug out towards sweeper cover for a run
Final over, then. Dwayne Smith has the ball. Can he prevent Carter from taking the Warriors through to victory?

3.6 Rashawn Worrell to Jonathan Carter, full toss on off, Carter swats this one towards deep mid wicket. The batters take two as the man in the deep tidies up
3.5 Rashawn Worrell to Jonathan Carter, SIX! Carter was always going to smash it towards the leg side, he gets the ideal delivery to have a whack! Short of a length on leg stump, Carter clears his front leg, shapes for the slog and clears mid wicket!
3.4 Rashawn Worrell to Yvan Grant, on a good length outside off, Grant gets on top of the bounce and drives towards point. Just a single
3.3 Rashawn Worrell to Yvan Grant, slower ball, pitched up outside off, Grant is early onto it looking to dab it towards the off side
3.2 Rashawn Worrell to Jonathan Carter, full, fired in on middle and leg, Carter swings again, but can't get all of it. Single to the man at deep square
3.1 Rashawn Worrell to Jonathan Carter, SIX! MONSTROUS! Full on middle, right in the slot for Carter, who swings at it with immense power, middles it to perfection, and sends it onto the houses beyond the ground towards mid wicket!
Rashawn Worrell, right-arm medium-fast, comes into the attack
Yvan Grant, RHB, comes to the crease
The game hangs in the balance. Warriors lost a third in the last ball of the previous over, wasn't any need for the second run!

Johann Layne

2.6 Johann Layne to Alcindo Holder, RUN OUT! Yorker on middle, dug out towards deep mid wicket. Holder calls for the second, but it turns out to be a silly decision as Holder hit it a touch too hard. The fielder at deep mid wicket ran in, threw it right next to the stumps on the bounce, and the keeper broke the stumps with Holder just short!
