What a massive win for West Indies. They would be proud of their performance against the No 1 T20 side and definitely something to smile for the West Indies supporters especially after a grim couple of months. They won't feature in the ODI World Cup but with the T20 World Cup being slated to be played in the Carribeans next year, they will look to prepare themselves for that event. Like always it was a pleasure bringing all the live coverage from this encounter. Till the next time this is adios from myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) and my co-commentator Bala. Goodnight! Cheers!
Time for Rovman Powell to collect the trophy and the celebrations will start. They will pose for the photographs and there will be some celebrations.
Rovman Powell (Wes Indies captain): It's diffcult to put into adjectives. The guys knew that it was a big series. To beat India is a big thing. Emotions are high definitely. Last night when we got defeated, we sat down and had a meeting. We are playing for the people of the Caribbean what we spoke and we needed to perform for them. Yeah, a lot of credit goes to the coaching staff led by Darren Sammy. We could have easily panicked after losing yesterday’s match. We sat up and spoke about/ Nicholas being a very important component of the team. Other batters around them have to do their work as well. Credit goes to the bowlers as well for retracting the powerful batting lineup. The West Indies supporters are always behind us. Not just physically but also on social media. It shows that cricket is so more for the people of Carbbean. A big thanks to the fans for coming in numbers. I will carry the guitar for Pooran to St Lucia.
Hardik Pandya (captain, India): We lost that period post 10 overs. I was not able to capitalize. Took my time but could not finish. I did not play exactly how I was supposed to. I believe we as a group have to challenge ourselves. We are going to learn during these games. We have spoken as a group that whenever we can take the hard way, we will. We will keep challenging ourselves. Within the group, we are all committed towards achieving team's goals. (On the T20 World Cup) It's a long way away right now. Next is the ODI world cup. Losing is good, doesn't let us cover up the messes that we do. Special mention to all the boys, they committed themselves and showed great character. When we were two down, they kept coming back. They kept the smiles around. Winning and losing is a part of the process and we are going to make sure that we learn from that.
Romario Shepherd (Player of the Match): Makes me feel happy. Nice to end up on the winning side. Thank you to (Nicholas) Pooran and (Brandon) King for the way they played. Right now, during both the ODI series and T20I series, I have been hitting my lengths, bowling well at the start and (at) the end. Especially to Sanju, the strategy was hit the wicket hard and to Surya(kumar Yadav), make him hit down the ground. Yes, meant a lot to us, series win against a team like India. We were going through some hard times, especially in the last couple of months. Fantastic for the fans and for us.
Rovman Powell will recieve the Player of the Series Award on behalf of Nicholas Pooran who had to catch a flight.
Romario Shepherd is the Player of the Match.
It's time for the post match presentation with Raunak Kapoor.
Rovman Powell will be a delighted man and his emotional hug with coach Darren Sammy Suma up the importance of this victory. The last two months hasn't been great for West Indies and it's certainly a matter of pride for them to win a series against the mighty Indians.
West Indies won by 8 wickets (with 12 deliveries to spare)
It turned out to be a rather one-sided contest in the end as West Indies win comfortably by 8 wickets to take the series 3-2. The Indian bowlers did make some inroads after the final read break but Brandon King ensured that a comeback was far-fetched for India. Kyle Mayers and Brandon King came out with positive intent. Mayers smashed a six off his very first ball but was dismissed by his nemesis from the previous game, Arshdeep Singh. It was an important blow for India but that was the only bright spot for the Men in Blue.
From there on, it was Nicholas Pooran who turned it on and continued the carnage which has been on display for the last the last month or so. It was clinical strokeplay yet again and the Indian bowlers were short of answers. Barring Kuldeep Yadav, none of the Indian bowlers could make an impact. Once King was set, he also looked dangerous and the boundaries kept flowing from the blade of both batters. They didn't take any chance against Kuldeep and took the attack to the rest of the bowlers.
Hardik Pandya who started the innings was very expensive and so was Yuzvendra Chahal. They couldn't quite get their radar and were clobbered for boundaries at will. Pooran was dismissed by Tilak Verma immediately after the final rain break but that wicket wasn't enough for India to stage a comeback. Brandon King unleashed a series of big shots and in the end, remained unbeaten on 85 off 55 deliveries. It was Shai Hope who smashed the winning runs, by pumping Yashasvi Jaiswal down the ground for a maximum.

17.6 Yashasvi Jaiswal to Shai Hope, SIX! Hope finishes it off in style! West Indies win the series 3-2! Flighted delivery outside off. Hope takes the front leg away and swings right back over the bowler's head. Magnificent victory for the West Indies, they needed this win given how things have gone on over the last year or so
17.5 Yashasvi Jaiswal to Brandon King, length delivery on the off-stump. Punches it on the up to long-off
17.4 Yashasvi Jaiswal to Brandon King, fuller ball fired in on the stumps. Taps it back to the bowler
17.3 Yashasvi Jaiswal to Shai Hope, quicker delivery from the front of the hands. Clips it to mid-wicket for one

17.1 Yashasvi Jaiswal to Brandon King, tossed up full on the stumps. Drills it down to long-on for one
Yashasvi Jaiswal, right arm leg break comes into the attack.
Tilak Verma dropping a straight forward opportunity and Brandon King cashing on that on the next two deliveries. A four and a six which has more or less settled the deal for West Indies. They are just one hit away.
