Commentary

Well, the total proved to be just enough for Belgrade, going on to win the game by eight runs in the end. They started well in the powerplay, picking wickets and keeping the runs down. It was a pretty clinical performance with the ball and in the field till the end, as they did not quite let the batters overpower them.

It was a lone battle from skipper Daniel Lazarides, scoring a brilliant 20-ball 57 and it almost seemed as though he was going to pull it off, getting out in the penultimate over of the chase. Unfortunately, he got no support from the other end and they feel short eventually.

Zagreb beat Belgrade in the first game of the day and Belgrade have comeback well to settle scores right-away with this win. A wicket each for Zimonjic, Nick Johns and Mark Pavlovic in a good all-round display.
