Zagreb Sokol won by 27 rruns
Gurpreet Singh 36(17) | Christopher Osborne 3/17(2) Abdul Hassan 26(14) | Suresh Ramakutty 2/17(2)
The target of 104 was always going to be a tall order for the Zagreb Warriors and in the end it was Zagreb Sokol who won convincingly by 27 runs. Abdul Hassan started off brilliantly which gave some hope to the Warriors. He smashed 26 off 14 balls which included a four and 3 sixes but kept losing his partners and none of the other batters could go beyond single digit.
There were starts from everyone but just couldn't get it going. It was a rather improved performance for them though and this is also their highest score in the tournament. While Abdul Hassan was out there, anything was possible. Since his departure, it was always going to be a one way traffic and in the end they could only muster 76 in their 10 overs. Christopher Osborne was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets to his name while as many as four bowlers chipped in with a wicket each.
