Thanks a lot for joining us- Mohul Bhowmick and Pragadeesh- for this rather lopsided game in the ECS. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did bringing it to you. Until next time, ciao!
Zagreb Warriors put up an extremely disappointing performance with the bat in hand and capitulated to give the Zagreb Assassins a massive victory in this game.
They seemed to be lacking the intensity and intent to chase these runs down and gave up on the chase fairly soon into it. The bowlers of Zagreb Assassins did decently and managed to keep a lid on the scoring, but they also sent down a fair number of looseners.
Unfortunately, none of the batters of the Warriors managed to keep up with these looseners or convert them into boundaries.
This loss will hurt the Warriors tremendously, and they will want to come back stronger from it. They will want to improve and come back stronger in this competition.
9.4 Jawahar Danikula to Luka Pejkovic, BOWLED! Pitched up on a fuller length, Pejkovic swings across the line without any feet movement and doesn't get any contact. All three stumps are flattened and it looks like that's the end of Warriors' innings as Massey doesn't come out to bat
Luka Pejkovic b Jawahar Danikula 0 (1b 0x4 0x6)
9.4 Jawahar Danikula to Luka Pejkovic, 5 WIDES! Fires a low full toss, Pejkovic leaps and the ball drifts down the leg-side and goes past the keeper
Luka Pejkovic, RHB, is the new batter.
9.3 Jawahar Danikula to Alen Magdalenic, BOWLED! Slow delivery on a good length, Magdalenic is early into his shot and gets beaten for the lack of pace. The ball shaves the top of off-stump
Alen Magdalenic b Jawahar Danikula 12 (23b 0x4 0x6)
9.2 Jawahar Danikula to Miro Zobaj, spears this fuller angling in, Zobaj gets hit on the pads and they sneak a leg-bye
9.1 Jawahar Danikula to Miro Zobaj, pitched up on a fuller length outside off, Zobaj has a wild swing and gets beaten
Jawahar Danikula [1-0-1-0] will bowl the final over.
The Assassins seem destined to win this game. They have been in complete control of it from ball one and rarely given the Warriors anything to think about.
