After two comprehensive loses earlier in the day, this victory would feel as sweet as finding an oasis in the desert for Zinitis. Their start was decent. They scored only 21 in the powerplay, which was not too different from what their opponents had got. Though, the switch in gears came about in the 4th over, when Perera hit Wijesuriya for 3 boundaries.

Yet, it felt as if they would miss out on the bonus point. Avishka Koshila bowled a tidy over in which he also dismissed Dilusha Lakshan.
