Zurich Crickets had put up an under-par score and this heavyweight Olten side was always going to be difficult to stop. Thirunavukarasu came out in a hurry, scoring 27 off just 7 balls and he and Waridu were past 30 in just the first two overs.

Then came the twist. On the first ball of the third over, the two openers came together to have a chat in the middle of the pitch after taking the single and the keeper whipped the bails off to send Thirunavukarasu packing in a controversial manner. Waridu gave away his wicket and Olten's top run-scorer Karunamoorthy got run out in the same over too.

Niazi and Stanikzai followed them soon after, reducing the team to 50/5 before the fifth over came to an end. It looked all doom and gloom but the batting side displayed their wealth of depth. Johnson and Varothyan came together for the sixth wicket and feasted on the Crickets' slightly over aggressive bowling to build a 56-run stand and end the game in the eighth over itself.

Wait, what? So after hitting that boundary, no one realised that the game is over and were almost ready for another ball till the square leg umpire intervened! Talk about an ending to a roller-coaster game!
